Robogals 2017 Science Challenge

 

What is it?

The Robogals Science Challenge is an Australian wide competition that encourages girls to explore the world of science and engineering with the help of a parent or mentor by conducting a science experiment, filming it and submitting an entry.

How does it work?

MINOR CHALLENGE and a final MAJOR CHALLENGE The Minor Challenge projects will be released in the lead up to the final project. Participants must complete a minimum of TWO Minor Challenge projects from their age category of higher to be eligible to participate in the Major Challenge. The Major Challenge is an extension of a Minor Challenge project or a completely new experiment. This video entry will be judged by a special panel.

Who can participate?

Any girl in Australia aged 5 to 15 years can participate. The entry groups are split between four categories:

Junior: 5 – 8
Intermediate: 9 – 12
Senior: 13 – 15
Schools category

When does it run?

The competition runs from 10 April to 29 July, 2017. You must be registered to participate!
